Spring is here, and it’s time to get back on the pitch! The Kegs Softball Club is heading outdoors for our first pre-season open training session, and we’d love to see you there, whether you’re a seasoned veteran or picking up a softball for the very first time.
When: Sunday 22 March, 16:00 Where: UCD GAA Pitch, by the Sports Centre (University College Dublin)
This session is open to everyone: all abilities, all genders, no experience or equipment needed. We’re welcoming back returning players, inviting current Softball Leinster members, and extending a big friendly wave to anyone from KCB or beyond who’s ever been curious about giving softball a go. Come as you are.
The focus is simple: get outside, enjoy the fresh air, and knock the cobwebs off. We’ll get some throws and swings in, reintroduce ourselves to the field, and have a good time doing it. No pressure, just softball and good company to kick off the season.
New to softball? Perfect. Bring yourself and your enthusiasm and we’ll sort the rest. The game is easy to pick up, the community is welcoming, and there’s no better way to find out if it’s for you than showing up on a Sunday afternoon.
