Our annual “4th of Canada Day Celebration” celebration brought together our Canadian and American members, friends, and families for a fantastic day of softball, food, fun, and community.
The celebrations kicked off at Wanderers FC, Ballsbridge, with a spirited club scrimmage, where players of all levels enjoyed some friendly competition before gathering for a spectacular club potluck and BBQ. Members outdid themselves, bringing an amazing variety of homemade dishes that kept everyone well-fed throughout the afternoon. From delicious classics to family favourites, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Cornhole games kept the competition going while members relaxed, caught up with friends, and cheered on the FIFA World Cup action together.
As the evening rolled on, the celebrations moved to our proud sponsor, Slattery’s D4, where the World Cup viewing continued and the club celebrated late into the evening. It was the perfect way to cap off a day that showcased everything our club is about—friendship, inclusivity, great food, and a shared love of sport.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, brought a dish to share, helped with the BBQ, and made the day such a memorable success. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
