Kegs Softball Club enjoyed a fantastic day of softball at the Castleknock Blitz on 25 July, fielding two teams and making the most of a fun and competitive tournament.
With players taking the opportunity to try out new positions, both teams embraced the spirit of the event, gaining valuable experience and enjoying plenty of action throughout the day.
KCB1 put together an impressive run to reach the Bowl Final, but it was not to be in the end as they were defeated by the host team, the Frankencats. Despite the result, it was a great achievement and a fitting conclusion to an excellent day of softball.
A big thank you to Castleknock Softball for organising such a well-run event and providing a great day out for all involved. We would also like to thank all club members who volunteered their time, coached, supported, and helped out throughout the day—your efforts played a huge part in making the event such a success for the club.
